Apple has released a “First Look Featurette” for the upcoming drama series “Truth Be Told” on YouTube.
The TV+ drama "Truth Be Told" premieres on December 6th on Apple's new streaming service. The company has now released a "First Look Featurette." The approximately three-minute video provides an insight into the filming and introduces the plot of the new drama series. "Truth Be Told" follows a podcaster – played by Octavia Spencer – whose sensationally successful crime show may have landed an innocent man in prison.
Based on the novel by Kathleen Barber, “Truth Be Told” offers a unique insight into America’s obsession with true crime podcasts and challenges its viewers to consider the consequences of putting the pursuit of justice on a public stage.
