On Monday evening, Apple released iOS 12, watchOS 5 and tvOS 12. In addition to the three operating systems, the company also released the new Shortcuts app.
The app can be used on iPhones and iPads with iOS 12. Workflows can be created using the Shortcuts app. These can then be activated using Siri voice commands. The app itself is based on Workflow, an iOS application that was taken over by Apple.
This is actually version 2.0. The processes can be very different and can be customized in great detail. These shortcuts are so useful because these commands can work across apps. Apple has also provided examples in image galleries within the application. The application currently contains over 300 different actions that can be linked together. Click here to go to app.
