Apple released the second public beta of iOS 13 and iPadOS this evening - and a revised developer version of iOS 13 and iPadOS was also released.
In addition to the second public beta version of iOS 13 and iPadOS, Apple has also released a revised third beta version of the two operating systems for developers. The reason for the new developer version is still unclear - the original third developer beta was not available for the iPhone 7 and 7 Plus for reasons unknown. However, today's updates have been released for all iPhones - which leads to even more confusion.
Tip – The new versions can be downloaded by registered participants as an over-the-air update or via the Apple Developer Center or Public Beta Center. As usual, a beta should not be installed on an actively used device, as the first beta versions of major updates are usually quite unstable – we recommend a second device for this. We also advise against searching for beta profiles on the Internet – voluntary testers can use the corresponding public beta version.
