Apple released iOS 15 and Co. for all users worldwide a week ago. Now the company has officially released the first patch, iOS 15.0.1.
iPhone and iPad users can now download iOS 15.0.1 or iPadOS 15.0.1 via the device's Settings under "Software Update." The update includes bug fixes and important security improvements. After iOS 15 was released, it quickly became apparent that the update wasn't a benefit for every user. Various issues were reported. Documented bugs include problems with the "Unlock with Apple Watch" feature, Bluetooth, notifications, and more. According to Apple, today's update is intended to resolve a storage issue and the bug that prevented the iPhone 13 from being unlocked with the Apple Watch. At this time, it's unclear whether today's release of iOS 15.0.1 will resolve any other issues. Should further details become available, we will, of course, report them.
