Today, on World AIDS Day, Apple has again highlighted its long-standing and deep-rooted partnership with (RED). Since 2006, the collaboration has raised an impressive more than a quarter of a billion dollars to support the fight against HIV and AIDS worldwide. Below, we'll explore the significance of this partnership, as well as (PRODUCT)RED versions of popular Apple products and Apple's generous fundraising efforts.

Apple has always been committed to not only creating innovative technology but also making a positive impact on the world. The partnership with (RED) is a prime example of how a technology company can make a real difference. With a focus on the health and well-being of society, Apple is once again underscoring its commitment by drawing attention to this important global challenge on World AIDS Day.

(PRODUCT)RED products and fundraising campaigns

As part of the Support for (RED), Apple has introduced an impressive range of (PRODUCT)RED products, including the Apple Watch Series 9, iPhone 14, iPhone 14 Plus, iPhone 13 and iPhone SE. In addition, the company offers accessories such as the silicone case with MagSafe for the iPhone 14 and iPhone 13 in the characteristic (PRODUCT)RED color. What's special about these products is that a portion of the proceeds from each purchase goes directly to the Global Fund to Fight AIDS and COVID-19. This can support life-saving programs to prevent, diagnose and treat HIV/AIDS.

(PRODUCT)RED games

This year, Apple is going a step further by donating all revenue from in-app purchases in three popular games on the App Store. The games MONOPOLY GO!, Gardenscapes and EA Sports FC Mobile feature exclusive in-app purchases, including playful avatars, cool shields and star footballers. This generous gesture helps further strengthen financial resources for the fight against HIV/AIDS and COVID-19.

Apple Pay donation

Apple has also announced another impressive fundraising campaign. Through December 8, the company will donate $1 for every purchase made with Apple Pay on apple.com, through the Apple Store app, or at an Apple Store. This allows customers to actively participate in supporting the Global Fund while making their purchases.

awareness raising

To promote awareness of World AIDS Day and ongoing efforts to eradicate HIV, hundreds of Apple Store locations will host special window displays and product presentations. In addition, Apple is offering customers the opportunity to learn about AIDS on the App Store, Apple Books, Apple Music and Apple TV. This helps spread information and education about the disease and raise awareness of the importance of prevention and treatment.

Conclusion

Apple is making a remarkable statement in the fight against HIV through its ongoing partnership with (RED) and generous fundraising efforts. (PRODUCT)RED products and fundraising initiatives help support life-saving programs around the world. At the same time, Apple reminds the world that World AIDS Day is an opportunity to reflect on the progress and challenges in the fight against this disease. We can all help create an AIDS-free future, and Apple is showing us the way. Looking for new accessories?
