As part of today's series announcements, Apple unveiled a completely new title: "Central Park," an animated musical comedy, is set to be released this summer.
The musical comedy “Central Park,” animated by Emmy winner Loren Bouchard, will also be a new exclusive title for Apple TV+. According to Apple’s press release:
“Central Park” is an animated musical comedy about the Tillermans, a family living in Central Park. Owen, the park manager, and Paige, his journalist wife, raise their children Molly and Cole in the world's most famous park while fending off hotel heiress Bitsy Brandenham and her long-suffering assistant Helen, who would love nothing more than to turn the park into condominiums.
According to Apple, the new series will consist of 13 half-hour episodes. "Central Park" was written and produced by Emmy Award winner Loren Bouchard ("Bob's Burgers") along with Josh Gad ("Frozen") and Nora Smith ("Bob's Burgers"). The series is from 20th Century Fox Television. A specific premiere date has not been announced, however. The series is slated to premiere early this summer. (Image: Apple TV+)
