In December, Apple Arcade will release a number of new titles, sure to generate buzz during the holiday season. These include sequels to popular games as well as new highlights optimized specifically for Apple devices. The selection ranges from iconic series to exclusive Arcade versions of successful console games.
Since its launch, Apple Arcade has established itself as a premium service in the mobile gaming market. The platform offers over 200 games without ads or in-app purchases – accessible on iPhone, iPad, Mac, Apple TV, and Apple Vision Pro. With a monthly subscription or as part of Apple One, the service is particularly attractive for families, as up to six people can access it simultaneously. New titles, exclusive content, and regular updates ensure that Apple Arcade will remain relevant even at the end of 2025.
SpongeBob: Patty Pursuit 2 – The Next Chapter

Starting December 4th, SpongeBob: Patty Pursuit 2, the sequel to one of the most successful games on Apple Arcade, will be released. This time, the focus isn't solely on SpongeBob, but also on Plankton, who is available as a playable character. Together, the two embark on a mission through Bikini Bottom to find a missing deep fryer and track down Plankton's mysteriously lost inventions.

The focus is on varied levels, vibrant environments from the series, and battles against quirky boss enemies. For the first time, two players can play simultaneously in local co-op mode. The levels take players through locations such as Dead Eye Gulch and Goo Lagoon, familiar from the animated series. The goal is to stop a previously unknown mastermind behind the entire mess.

PowerWash Simulator – Relaxation through high pressure
Also launching on December 4th is PowerWash Simulator on Apple Arcade. The game brings the popular cleaning concept to mobile devices – complete with touch controls and gyroscope support. A SpongeBob special pack and additional missions are included at launch. More content will follow after release at no extra cost. PowerWash Simulator allows you to escape the everyday and focus on the satisfying feeling of cleaning water surfaces with high pressure – a clear focus on relaxation and precision.
Cult of the Lamb: Arcade Edition – exclusive to Apple Arcade
Another title making its mobile debut is Cult of the Lamb: Arcade Edition. This exclusive version includes additional content such as new follower forms, decorations, and outfits. Furthermore, all previously released updates and paid expansions are already integrated. The game combines roguelite elements with base building and an unusual, dark art style. Available on Apple Arcade, the game is completely ad-free and has been optimized for touchscreen controls.
More titles in December
The December lineup includes even more games that appeal to different target groups:
- Subway Surfers+ brings the ad-free version of the world's most downloaded mobile game to Apple Arcade.
- NARUTO: Ultimate Ninja STORM+ is a 3D fighting game based on the popular manga and anime series – featuring classic characters, fast-paced battles and revamped controls for Apple devices.
- Glassbreakers: Champions of Moss is a real-time multiplayer strategy game developed exclusively for Apple Vision Pro. The title will be available from November 13th.

Updates for existing titles
Existing games on Apple Arcade also regularly receive new content. Sneaky Sasquatch, one of the platform's long-running favorites, was recently expanded with a new farming town. In this new area, players can visit Grandma's farm, where they can plow fields with a tractor and grow nine different types of crops. This adds extra fun and significantly expands the game's possibilities.
Prices and availability
Apple Arcade costs €6.99 per month and can be tested free for one month. Three months are included free with the purchase of a new iPhone, iPad, Mac, or Apple TV. Alternatively, Apple Arcade is part of Apple One – in the Individual (€19.95), Family (€25.95), and Premium (€34.95) plans. One subscription covers up to six people within a Family Sharing plan.
Games on Apple Arcade are ad-free and have no in-app purchases. Arcade Originals run on iPhone, iPad, Mac, Apple TV, and Apple Vision Pro. Popular classics from the App Store are also included, but only for iPhone, iPad, and Apple Vision Pro. Availability of individual titles may vary by device and region.
