Star analyst Ming-Chi Kuo has spoken out again. This time he reports on the front and rear cameras of the 2019 iPhone models.

Apple oracle Ming-Chi Kuo has new information to announce about the front and rear cameras of the upcoming iPhone line-up. According to him, Apple is planning to update the front camera from 7 megapixels to 12 megapixels on all three iPhone models. Furthermore, the much-discussed triple camera is set to be introduced in the 5.8" and 6.5" iPhones - the third lens, according to Kuo, will be an ultra-wide-angle lens with 12 megapixels from Sony. Both the front and rear cameras will be delivered with a special black coating - the result should be an inconspicuous look - according to Kuo.

At the same time, the lenses themselves are coated black.

The new iPhone line-up, consisting of the successor to the iPhone XS, iPhone XS Max and iPhone XR, is expected in mid-September.
