Apple's small trackers called AirTags were first discovered in the summer of 2019. This was due to clues in the beta code of iOS 13. Now a leaker has published an animation from Apple. Is this what the AirTags look like?

Leaker & Youtuber Jon Prosser has published a new video on his Youtube channel Front Tech Page and touched on the topic of AirTags. According to his information, the AirTags are ready and ready to be presented. But Apple is holding them back due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The reason for this is that people spend most of their time at home. According to him, the AirTags are currently of little use. However, he assumes that the new accessories will be released in spring, as there were further clues in the code of iOS 14.3 - read more hereIn autumn 2020, he first leaked the design using concept images. But he provided material that came directly from Apple and the final product The animation can be seen in the video from minute 06.52.

What exactly are AirTags?

But some fans still ask the question, what are AirTags? Apple's AirTags are small trackers that can be attached to various objects - as already described above. This accessory is by no means a new invention. But Apple wants to market them as a useful accessory - so they should have more to offer than competing products such as Tile or Adero - at least on a design level. The probably biggest advantage is the deep integration into Apple devices. This makes management much easier. Whether macOS, iOS or iPadOS - the "Find My" app is available on all three systems.
