Apple quietly removed the Beats by Dre website ahead of its Hi-Speed event on Tuesday. The reason for this may be the HomePod mini and AirPods Studio.
As the blog Apple Terminal noticed, the landing page for Beats products is no longer available on the Apple website. The so-called Wayback Machine has a snapshot The site's original version, dated October 2, is down, while the most recent snapshot, dated October 9, shows the site as "down." This suggests that Apple must have taken the website offline sometime between October 2 and 9. The rumor that Apple plans to replace the Beats brand with AirPods has been gaining momentum in recent weeks. The Cupertino-based company has already renamed the radio station "Beats 1" to "Apple Music 1." renamed and removed numerous support pages for Beats products.
