Apple officially launched its own gaming service, Apple Arcade, last year. But the service doesn't appeal to everyone. That's set to change. New titles are expected to rival "The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild."
Anonymous leaker Fudge claims to have learned new details about Apple Arcade. Apple seems to be still working on the service and pump a lot of money into it. Future titles are expected to be so extensive that they will require newer hardware and be able to compete with games like "The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild." In a tweet explained Fudge:
Apple Arcade: Time frame remains unknown
Apple Arcade is receiving significant funding. Titles are currently in the works that aim to compete with games like "Breath of the Wild," which is why new A12X/Z AppleTVs, "A14X-like" AppleTVs, and controllers are in the works.
Some games will even require A13 and higher.
If the information is correct, should Apple Arcade will appeal to significantly more users than it does now. This isn't the first time we've read rumors that at least one new Apple TV and gaming controller are in the works. Apart from that, Fudge has a very high hit rate. The leaker has revealed several details regarding software and hardware in the past that turned out to be correct. However, since Fudge didn't give a specific time frame, it remains to be seen when Apple will actually present the whole thing to us. (Photo by Konstantin Savusia / Bigstockphoto)
