Apple has released a relatively small update to its iWork app suite, which includes Pages, Keynote and Numbers.

The word processor Pages can now publish directly to Apple Books with a file size of up to 2GB. Users also get more options for placing page numbers and adjusting font size. The Pages app on iOS also gets new quick launch actions from the app icon. Long-press the icon to create a new document right from the home screen. The spreadsheet app Numbers, on the other hand, has been updated with the ability to take snapshots of spreadsheet cells without formulas, categories, or hidden values. It also added the ability to adjust font size with up to two decimal places.

Both Numbers and Pages have received more VoiceOver controls. Pages can read comments and track changes, while Numbers can use the Accessibility feature to create formulas and fill cells. Keynote can now zoom slides to a maximum of 400 %. Font sizes can also be changed more precisely. All three apps now support shortcuts on macOS. With the new shortcut actions, users can create new Numbers, Pages or Keynote documents, add rows to a Numbers table or start a Keynote presentation. Apple's iWork apps will automatically be updated to version 12.0 updated. You can also visit the iOS and macOS App Store and force the update directly. (Photo by Unsplash / Austin Distel)
