Germany and the expansion of the network. There are still complaints about various dead spots. The Federal Network Agency has now published a map showing the network coverage in detail - the individual dead spots have also been recorded here.
The newly published map provides a complete visualization of network coverage. All network operators (Telekom, Telefonica, and Vodafone) were taken into account. The legend shows four values, each in a different color: "no reception," "2G," "3G," and "4G." The filter allows users to select individual providers and check network coverage across Germany. The entire process can also be limited to a specific time period between three and 24 months.
If you're only interested in a specific frequency, you need to select it in the "Network Coverage" section. The map from the Federal Network Agency illustrates the problem quite well. Germany still doesn't have nationwide 4G coverage—so it's no surprise that users are criticizing the planned 5G expansion nationwide. Below is a screenshot of the map—the filter is set to "All" for the last three months. If you'd like to see the whole thing for yourself, you can find the map here. here.
