An alleged image of the right side of the iPhone 15 was shared online today. It shows a cutout for the side button and a black or "Midnight" finish.
The image, shared by Twitter user @lipilipsi divided reportedly shows multiple cases for one of the iPhone 15 models. The cutout for the side button matches renders of the iPhone 15 Pro, which is expected to feature solid-state buttons with haptic feedback. However, this is the first time it has been seen in real-life images. It is unclear whether the image shows a regular iPhone 15 or an iPhone 15 Pro. The case appears to be black or "Midnight" anodized and has a matte finish, which would indicate a regular iPhone 15 model, as opposed to the brushed titanium finish of the iPhone 15 Pro.

iPhone 15: Could the chassis also show an older model?
On the other hand, only the "Pro" models are expected to be equipped with solid-state buttons this year. It's likely that the image actually shows a standard iPhone 15, and the cutout is intended for a mechanical button, as the two standard iPhone models aren't expected to receive haptic buttons this year. Leaker ShrimpApplePro has suggested that the case could be a modification for an older iPhone model, so the image should be taken with a grain of salt for now.
