Apple has continued its holiday tradition with an Easter egg in the Apple Store app: users can “make it snow” on an iPhone screen.
In celebration of the holidays, Apple has hidden a small feature in its Apple Store app to help get users in the festive spirit. Users can create a small blizzard on their iPhone that causes snowflakes to fall from the top of the screen while browsing the store. To activate the feature, users simply type the words "let it snow" into the search field. Once correctly entered, snow will begin falling from the top of the screen.
Apple Store App: The feature is not new
The effect is active for the entire duration of the session. When you shake your iPhone or iPad, the snow swirls around, similar to a snow globe. The feature is not new, however. Apple has activated it several times in recent years.

At the beginning of November Apple Apple encouraged its customers to start shopping early and expanded its return policy for purchases. Apple also released a gift guide for the 2021 holidays and released the short film "Saving Simon" on iPhone. (Screenshot: Apfelpatient)
