Currently, some users are reporting problems with iCloud Mail. Apple has now confirmed that the service is down.
Apple confirmed problems with iCloud Mail a few minutes ago. Interestingly, the service seems to have only partially failed. While some users are reporting problems, not all seem to be affected. The system status website According to the report, only iCloud Mail is affected. It states:
iCloud Mail issues should be resolved in the next few hours
This service may experience temporary problems.
According to Apple, there are "intermittent issues with this service." It's currently unknown when the issues will be resolved.
