iOS 14.5 will add some major features and many smaller improvements. Powerbeats Pro users can also look forward to this.
Apple is making some major changes to privacy in iOS 14.5 and iPadOS 14.5. It's also made several smaller improvements that significantly improve the user experience. Now, reports say the Powerbeats Pro will receive Find My support. The "Find My" app, formerly known as "Find My iPhone," helps users locate and track devices connected to their iCloud accounts, such as their iPhone, Mac, Apple Watch, or AirPods. Since the Beats brand belongs to Apple and is already deeply integrated into iOS, iPadOS and macOS, the Powerbeats benefit Pro once again. Until now, support in Find My was missing.
iOS 14.5: Apple simplifies Powerbeats Pro search
However, this is set to change with iOS 14.5. This means that with the new update, users will be able to locate and track their Bluetooth headphones directly from the "Find My" app. Currently, Apple states that customers should contact Apple Support if they lose their Powerbeats Pro, which makes the search process more cumbersome. The whole process will be much easier in the future. As with the AirPods, users will be able to play a sound from the Powerbeats Pro to help locate them. iOS 14.5 and other features will be released in "early spring," according to Apple.
