iOS 14.5: Powerbeats Pro get “Find My” support

Powerbeats Pro

CHONBURI, THAILAND-DECEMBER 26, 2019 : Powerbeats Pro - Totally Wireless Earphones - Black and charging case. Workout headphones on dark background. Apple product. In-ear wireless headphones. Earbuds.

iOS 14.5 will add some major features and many smaller improvements. Powerbeats Pro users can also look forward to this.

Apple is making some major changes to data protection in iOS 14.5 and iPadOS 14.5. There are also a number of smaller improvements that significantly improve the user experience. Now it is reported that the Powerbeats Pro will receive Find My support. The Find My app, formerly known as Find My iPhone, helps users locate and track devices connected to their iCloud accounts, such as your iPhone, Mac, Apple Watch, or AirPods. Since the Beats brand belongs to Apple and is already deeply integrated into iOS, iPadOS and macOS, the Powerbeats benefit Pro once again. Until now, support in Find My was missing.

iOS 14.5: Apple simplifies Powerbeats Pro search

However, this is set to change with iOS 14.5. This means that with the new update, users will be able to locate and track their Bluetooth headphones directly from the "Find My" app. Apple currently states that customers should contact Apple Support if they lose their Powerbeats Pro, which makes the search process more cumbersome. Accordingly, the whole thing will be much easier in the future. As with the AirPods, users will then be able to play a sound from the Powerbeats Pro to locate them. iOS 14.5 and Co. will be released in "early spring", according to Apple. (Photo by Fahroni / Bigstockphoto)
