The Japanese Apple blog Macotakara has published several articles about Apple's iPad range and new iPhone models in recent days. addedAccording to Macotakara, Apple plans to announce the second generation of AirPods Pro together with the third generation of iPhone SE in April 2021. The blog claims to have received the information from Chinese suppliers. According to the report, the new earbuds will have a slightly redesigned charging case. More specifically, the case will remain 21 mm thick but will have a height of 46 mm and a width of 54 mm. The current charging case of the AirPods Pro measures 45.2 mm high and 60.6 mm wide. Accordingly, the new version could be slightly narrower. No further details were given. Possible changes related to the iPhone SE were also not mentioned.
AirPods Pro 2 & iPhone SE 2021: The rumors are not new
Bloomberg reports suggest that the second-generation AirPods Pro will have a more compact design, eliminating the short stem protruding from the bottom. The new Pro version of the earbuds could have a rounded shape, more similar to earbuds from companies like Google and Samsung. Regarding the iPhone SE, various previous rumors have suggested that Apple could release a Plus version. The device would be either 5.5 or 6.1 inches. However, there is a discrepancy regarding the release date. The well-known and usually accurate analyst Ming-Chi Kuo believes this device will be unveiled in the second half of the year.
