Apple has hosted three virtual keynotes this fall, unveiling numerous products, but there have been hints that another product could be revealed via press release in December.
The US blog MacRumors has received an internal Apple memo from a reliable source receive, which indicates another hardware announcement. This is planned for Tuesday, December 8th. The memo states that engineers should prepare for new product SKUs, new/updated product descriptions and new/updated product prices. Such memos have been sent out in the past - always before a product announcement. However, it is not expected that Apple will hold a fourth event. It is therefore likely that the company will announce the new - as yet unknown - product via press release.

But what could it be? Interestingly, only one source has suggested a surprise. That is L0vetodream. He was the only one to make any hints so far. All other "leakers" have apparently not given us any information yet. But what could Apple offer us now? There has been a lot of speculation since the cryptic tweet. Most fans assume that Apple will AirTags or AirPods Studio I could imagine. At least both products were discovered in the beta of iOS 14.3. It is therefore likely that one of the two accessories may appear. However, there were also rumors about a new Apple TV with a game controller. Whatever it will be, it will remain exciting.
