Apple has finally launched the iPhone 12 series presented and introduced a new design. At the same time, it was announced that the included accessories would be reduced.
Apple will not include a charger or EarPods with the iPhone 12 for environmental reasons. The company said it will be able to significantly reduce carbon emissions by not having to manufacture the accessories in the first place - in addition to reducing the box size of each iPhone sold. According to Apple, this will save two million tons of carbon annually.

Apple's vice president, Lisa Jackson, said that there are already more than two billion power adapters in the world, so it would be a waste to continue to offer them in the box with the iPhone. Pursue also explained that more and more customers are switching to wireless charging methods. The iPhone 12 box will still include the USB-C to Lightning charging cable, but will not include the EarPod earphones and power adapter. These accessories will now only be sold separately.
