Game Center was added to iOS 4 in 2010 and was an important part of games for a few years, but Apple eliminated the application in 2016 with the release of iOS 10. But now that is about to change – thanks to iOS 14 & macOS Big Sur. In this Year The Game Center will have a completely new design, with a focus on finding games and playing with friends. In addition, a WWDC session on game development and the use of game controllers spoken. It also included improvements, but also the ability to share clips from games with friends and much more. Apple Arcade is being redesigned
Users on iOS 14 & macOS Big Sur can view their achievements, rankings, and Game Center profiles directly in various games via a new in-game dashboard. This also applies to Apple Arcade titles. In addition to the games, it can also be accessed via the Game Center section of the Settings app. Game Center also offers, among other things, leaderboards for daily, weekly, and monthly competitions, as well as a function that allows users to view their friends' game progress. This entire feature will, of course, also be an integral part of Apple Arcade. This overhaul will, of course, also include the entire Apple Arcade segment. Accordingly, additional features such as achievement lists will be added. A new filter will also be implemented to help users find interesting titles.
