Due to the current coronavirus situation, Apple has closed all retail stores and corporate offices in China until February 9 as a precautionary measure, Bloomberg reports. <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Apple has confirmed to Bloomberg that it is temporarily closing all retail stores and corporate offices in China. However, the online store will remain operational. The company explains that the decision is based on the latest advice from health experts. Our thoughts are with those most directly affected by the coronavirus and those working around the clock to study, and based on the latest advice from leading health experts, we are closing all of our corporate offices, stores, and contact centers in mainland China until February 9. However, February 9 is not considered certain. An extension is possible. Apple already warned of such a consequence when announcing its quarterly figures and adjusted its sales forecast accordingly.
