In the Apple Online Store, customers were previously able to leave a review for individual products \u2013 but this now no longer seems to be possible. <\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

Apple has quietly removed the "Reviews" section in its online store. It remains unclear when the company actually made the section disappear. The US blog AppleInsider was the first to make the discovery. Various US media outlets suspect that Apple must have removed the "Reviews" during the course of this month. This means that potential customers can no longer see or write product reviews.<\/span><\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

Since Apple sells third-party accessories in its own shop in addition to its own products, the selection is correspondingly large. The opinion of other buyers was sometimes quite useful. Why Cupertino removed the section remains unknown at the moment. It is suspected that the reason can be found in some negative reviews. The Verge cites the Lightning to 3.5mm headphone adapter as an example. This controversial accessory had well over 700 one-star reviews. But other products were also often rated negatively. If you want to see a review of certain items before buying in the future, you will have to resort to Google. Alternatively, the "Questions & Answers" section in the online shop could also be helpful.
