The code snippets shared by X user aaronp613<\/a> refer to a so-called \"Take a Break Message.\" This message is intended to remind users that they have been in a conversation for an extended period of time - and that Siri is not a real person. According to the shared code, the reminder essentially reads: You have been in this conversation for several hours and should consider taking a break; Siri is not a person but will be ready to resume as soon as you wish.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

More than just a screen time reminder<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

While traditional screen time tools primarily focus on pure usage time, Apple is apparently aiming for something else here: the risk of a parasocial bond with an AI.
