So far, the Galaxy Fold has been in the spotlight. But now a new candidate is taking the spotlight - the Samsung Galaxy S10.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">The Samsung Galaxy S10 was introduced on February 20, 2019 and includes all sorts of functions, including a fingerprint sensor under the display. This is supposed to protect against intruders - actually. But it obviously doesn&#039;t seem to take its job seriously. The British news channel BBC reports on a case that is likely to be extremely embarrassing for Samsung. The biometric authentication system can apparently be unlocked with any fingerprint - prior registration of the respective finger is not necessary. But how does this dangerous security error come about? The answer is: screen protector. According to this, the device can be unlocked with anyone&#039;s fingerprint as soon as it has a screen protector. A young British woman noticed the error when her husband reached for the device.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><strong>Samsung makes a statement<\/strong><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">Of course, Samsung has already commented on the incident. The error is already known - an update should fix the problem. According to the South Korean company, the Samsung Galaxy S10 is not compatible with every &quot;<strong>screen protector<\/strong>\u201c compatible. Since the fingerprint sensor is based on ultrasound, small air bubbles can disrupt the scanning process - in response, the device unlocks automatically - explained Samsung. However, a software update should solve the problem.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><strong>Review:<\/strong> When Samsung presented the Galaxy S10 at the Bill Graham Civic Auditorium in San Francisco, the new fingerprint sensor was highly praised.
