The combination of the A19 chip and C1X modem directly impacts battery life. The iPhone 17e achieves up to 26 hours of video playback, while the iPhone 16 manages up to 22 hours. This four-hour difference is noticeable in everyday use, especially when streaming or using the phone for extended periods on the go.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Apple has also opted for a newer generation of glass in the iPhone 17e. Like the iPhone 17, it uses Ceramic Shield 2. This glass offers three times better scratch resistance compared to the iPhone 16 and features improved anti-reflective properties, reducing glare.
