Just yesterday we reported on a new rumor about the next iPhone generation reported<\/a>Now there are indications that Apple has developed a prototype of the iPhone that works completely without the well-known notch.<\/strong><\/p>\n

More than a dozen reports about the iPhone 2020 already indicate that three new iPhone devices will be released next year. There will be a new design and new screen sizes - this is reported by various and above all reliable sources. Now there is a new report about the notch. The well-known Apple leaker and concept artist Ben Geskin claims to have learned that Apple has developed a prototype with a 6.7-inch display for the first time - the explosive thing is not the size itself but the front view. The prototype iPhone is said to do without the notch. The TrueDepth sensor - Face ID - was instead installed in the narrow bezel above the display - according to Geskin. In keeping with the rumor, he has already created a concept graphic to better visualize the whole thing. According to his current information, Apple is planning to present the device as early as 2020 - provided the test results are positive.<\/p>\n

Suspicion is confirmed<\/strong><\/p>\n

It is not the first time that there has been speculation about new dimensions. At the beginning of the year, the accurate analyst Ming-Chi Kuo reported on new screen sizes in the iPhone 2020. The devices are said to have 5.4-inch, 6.1-inch and 6.7-inch displays. All three models will be equipped with OLED screens - 5G support is also planned for the premium models. His statement at the time was confirmed several times by various sources over the course of the year. Another innovation is a new look - according to this, Apple is planning the iPhone 2020 in new design<\/a> The notch itself, however, has not yet been commented on by Kuo in relation to the 2020 generation. Earlier this week, however, Kuo wants to reveal more Details about the new design<\/a> According to the latest information, the iPhone 2020 would be reminiscent of the iPhone 4.<\/p>\n

Geskin is no stranger<\/strong><\/p>\n

Bloomberg journalists Mark Gurman and Debby Wu also brought Touch ID<\/a> comes into play. It could be that Apple will present an iPhone with Face ID and Touch ID under the display as early as 2020. However, this is not certain - the presentation of such a model would also be possible in 2021, as the test phase is supposedly still ongoing.<\/p>\n

Geskin's latest report is being treated with healthy skepticism for the time being, as he is the only one to predict the disappearance of the notch in 2020.
