The entire iPhone release schedule could change in 2026 and 2027. Apple is apparently working on a new plan that would distribute the iPhone across two fixed release windows per year. This is intended to ensure a more consistent revenue flow and strengthen its position in the smartphone market. The upcoming models could be the first to reflect this change.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Traditionally, the iPhone is released in the fall. Four models mark the familiar start of the new product year. Apple has also occasionally launched individual variants in the spring. Current information suggests that these occasional spring releases will become a permanent part of the product strategy. While the premium devices will remain in September, the regular iPhone 18 is expected to arrive in spring 2027. It will be accompanied by an update to the iPhone 18e. The E series will thus remain the budget-friendly addition to the main lineup. At the same time, there's a possibility that Apple will introduce an updated iPhone Air during this period. This device could be positioned between the base model and the Pro models, further strengthening the spring launch.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
