Apple has released the third developer beta of iOS 26.2. Simultaneously, updated test versions of iPadOS 26.2, macOS 26.2, watchOS 26.2, tvOS 26.2, and visionOS 26.2 are also available. This release comes just a few days after Beta 2 and demonstrates that Apple continues to work at a rapid pace on the next interim version. What visible new features Beta 3 contains is currently unknown. Any changes discovered will be covered separately as soon as they are documented.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

With the third beta, the final release of iOS 26.2 is drawing closer. During this phase, Apple typically focuses on stability, bug fixes, and internal refinements. New features appear less frequently but can be unlocked at any time. The integration of Apple Intelligence, in particular, remains an ongoing process that continues to be optimized in the background. CarPlay can hide pinned conversations in the Messages app. This creates a clearer overview in the car without having to change the settings on the iPhone.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The pop-out menus in the corners have been given an improved animation. The new transitions appear faster and visually match what Apple demonstrated at WWDC.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
