Filming for "Dark Matter" Season 2 was completed in July 2025. Blake Crouch himself confirmed<\/a> this. Immediately afterward, a post-production period of approximately six months began, during which the complex visual effects and editing were completed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This makes a launch date in early 2026 very likely. Since Apple TV has already announced many premieres for January, a launch in February or March 2026 is considered realistic. However, it's also possible that Apple plans the release similarly to Season 1. The first season was released in May 2024, so a launch in May 2026 is a reasonable starting point. The complete first season of "Dark Matter" is still available on Apple TV.
