An accidentally leaked code entry has confirmed that Apple is planning a new low-cost iPad with the A18 chip. The leak follows an earlier Bloomberg report that suggested an entry-level 12th-generation model for spring 2026. The new device is expected to retain the current design but feature a significantly more powerful processor.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Apple regularly launches new versions of its affordable iPad to offer a more affordable alternative to the Pro and Air models. The upcoming entry-level iPad could offer a significant leap in performance. The A18 chip is already familiar from the current iPhone generation and offers significantly more power than the previously installed A16.
