The interviewees include Robert De Niro, Daniel Day-Lewis, Leonardo DiCaprio, Mick Jagger, Robbie Robertson, Thelma Schoonmaker, Steven Spielberg, Sharon Stone, Jodie Foster, Paul Schrader, Margot Robbie, Cate Blanchett, Jay Cocks, Rodrigo Prieto, his wife Helen Morris, his children, and close friends from his childhood. The series focuses on Scorsese's artistic work in the context of his life. It deals with personal experiences reflected in his films, his choice of subject matter, and his stylistic development. From his studies at New York University to his first short films and current productions, his work is examined chronologically and thematically. The documentary poses central questions, such as the relationship between good and evil and the role of humans in moral conflicts \u2013 motifs that run through many of his films.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In addition to Rebecca Miller, Damon Cardasis and Cindy Tolan served as executive producers. Both have previously worked with Miller on other projects, including "Arthur Miller: Writer." Other executive producers include Rick Yorn, Christopher Donnelly, and Julie Yorn. Ron Burkle is listed as a producer. Robert Fernandez and Patrick Walmsley serve as co-executive producers.
