Apple releases a new iPhone every year\u2014but not every year does it feature such significant design changes as the iPhone 17 Pro. If all goes according to plan, the device will be unveiled this fall. A new rendering is already causing a stir. It shows how Apple is redesigning the camera design and, for the first time, opting for a unified housing without color separation.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

A rendering by X user kanedacane shows what the iPhone 17 Pro could look like with a full-body back. The traditional two-tone design is gone. Instead, the camera unit will be fully integrated into the casing, both in color and material. Reactions to this have been mixed \u2013 and the leak raises many questions about how Apple intends to shape the design line in the future.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

New camera design: Unibody instead of color contrast<\/h4>\n\n\n\n

The iPhone 17 Pro will likely have a back with a camera and body that are visually one. Previously, Apple was expected to use a color-contrasting camera bar on the iPhone 17 Air or the Pro models. This would have provided contrast and recognition. But according to Mark Gurman, that's exactly not going to happen. The camera will be the same color as the rest of the body. The new rendering is based on this information and visualizes the unibody concept. This means: no longer a separation between the camera element and the back, but a uniform surface. This should create a minimalist, almost seamless design.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
