This time, the focus is mainly on improvements in the area of artificial intelligence and voice assistants. At the same time, it is becoming clear that Apple is restructuring its software development in phases, which is delaying some planned features. Nevertheless, there are many exciting details that give us an insight into the future of the operating system.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A next-generation Siri<\/h4>\n\n\n\n

One of the main themes of iOS 19 is the further development of Siri. According to Mark Gurman of Bloomberg, Apple is working on a "more conversational Siri" supported by advanced language models. These models should enable Siri to handle much more complex requests, similar to OpenAI's AI chatbot ChatGPT. Apple plans to make this revised version of Siri available as part of an iOS 19.4 update in spring 2026. This means that until then you will have to make do with minor improvements that will be integrated into updates such as iOS 18.4.
