\t\t\t\tThe 150 MB limit for downloads on mobile phones has often caused a lot of frustration among iPhone and iPad users. Now Apple has increased the limit - unfortunately not enough.<\/strong><\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

This week, Apple raised the download limit for iPhone and iPad on mobile networks. The limit was raised from 150 MB to 200 MB. This means that more apps and games can now be downloaded over mobile networks. This limit is intended to protect users' data volume and prevents the downloading of large games. Video podcasts, films and series from the iTunes Store can still not be downloaded without WiFi or a hotspot. Many users do not like Apple's move because the increase is too small. In the age of unlimited data volume, Cupertino should leave the setting of the limit up to the user. Alternatively, this block could be converted into a warning. It remains to be seen whether Apple will relax its policy regarding downloads over mobile networks. The limit was last raised from 100 MB to 150 MB in September 2017.<\/p>\n
