Apple has now officially opened its books and announced its results for the fourth fiscal quarter of 2023 (third calendar quarter of 2023).<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Apple has now opened the books and released the results for the fourth fiscal quarter of 2023 (third calendar quarter of 2023). Side note: Apple's fiscal year starts on October 1st and ends on September 30th. Apple did not announce a sales forecast at the last quarterly earnings conference either, as the company was unable to provide a realistic estimate due to the ongoing crisis. Apple posted sales of $89.5 billion and record net income of $22.3 billion, or $1.46 per share, in the last quarter, compared to sales of $90.1 billion and net income of $20.7 billion in the same quarter last year. In fiscal 2023, the tech giant led by Tim Cook reported earnings per share (EPS) of $6.13 and revenue of $383.29 billion. In the previous fiscal year, the company's EPS was $6.11 and revenue was $394.33 billion. Analysts' forecasts for Apple in the full fiscal year 2023 were EPS of $6.06 and revenue of $383.09 billion. Apple's board of directors approved a dividend payment of $0.24 per share. The dividend will be paid on November 16 to shareholders of record as of the close of business on August 13.
