Game Mode is already available in macOS Sonoma and optimizes system settings for better gaming performance on the Mac. Now 9to5Mac has discovered interesting clues in the code of the fourth beta version of iOS 17 that suggest that Apple is experimenting with a Game Mode for iOS and iPadOS.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

While the current iOS 17 update does not bring any groundbreaking new features, the find indicates<\/a> of these frameworks in the code hints at possible future developments. Apple seems to want to improve gaming performance on its mobile devices by prioritizing resources for games. Game Mode promises a smoother gaming experience and reduced Bluetooth latency, which is of particular interest to gamers with AirPods or Bluetooth controllers. As beta testing progresses, it will become clear whether Game Mode will actually be implemented in iOS and iPadOS.
