Apple is in a trademark dispute over the name "Vision Pro" with Chinese company Huawei. Although Huawei registered the name four years ago for wearable virtual reality devices, this is not the first time Apple has had such naming issues. Apple has already experienced several trademark disputes when naming products, including with the name "iTV" and "iPad". Currently, Huawei has exclusive rights to this name until November 2031. Apple would therefore have to rename the device to be able to sell it in China. However, there is a possibility that Apple could reach an agreement with Huawei and keep the name, similar to previous trademark disputes. Although Apple has said it will initially only launch the Apple Vision Pro in the US, it is likely that the company will also want to enter the Chinese market in the long term. The resolution of the trademark dispute will therefore be of great importance. Huawei does not currently offer a product called the Vision Pro, which leaves room for an agreement.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
