Rumors suggest that iOS 17 will introduce some useful features. One of them could be a redesigned Control Center.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Apple updates iOS every year with new features, both big and small, fixing bugs and improving performance. It was originally thought that iOS 17 would bring more minor changes. But recent rumors point to larger updates. According to a member of the MacRumors forums<\/a>, which already shared a detailed leak of the iPhone 14 Pro's Dynamic Island, iOS 17 will revamp the Control Center, a part of the system that provides quick access to controls for media playback, focus modes, HomeKit, Control Panel, and more.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The leaker didn't provide any specifics about the changes. Since Control Center turns ten years old this year, it's possible that Apple is planning a major overhaul to mark the anniversary. The company introduced Control Center with iOS 7, and since the last overhaul in iOS 11, the feature has remained largely unchanged. One of the biggest wishes for iOS is third-party app integration and an API for Control Center. Users hope Apple will allow them to change the icons and controls there, and perhaps create shortcuts for other apps as well. Apple is expected to unveil iOS 17 during WWDC in June.
