During the pandemic, the number of subscriptions increased rapidly, but slowed as people went back to work. According to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.apple.com\/investor\/earnings-call\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Declarations<\/a> According to Apple, the number of active subscriptions increased by approximately 35 million from 900 million to 935 million in the fourth calendar quarter of 2022. The total number of subscriptions increased by 150 million for the full year of 2022.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-apple-die-gesamtzahl-der-abonnements-stieg-2022-um-150-millionen-an\">Apple: Total subscriptions increased by 150 million in 2022<\/h3>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n<p>Apple&#039;s subscriber growth has slowed quarter on quarter, reaching 816 million in July. This can be attributed to general seasonality and more people returning to work as the pandemic subsides. The total number of subscribers is calculated by counting all subscriptions made through an Apple platform. This includes Apple services, entertainment apps, and app subscriptions from the App Store such as Carrot Weather or even our own Apfelpatient Premium subscription. Apple TV+ and Apple Arcade are also included in these numbers. Apple announced its fourth-quarter results on Thursday and reported a rare decline in revenue of 117.15 billion euros.
