After Apple already held an event in September, the company is expected to unveil new iPad and Mac models in October. However, this will be done without an event.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

In his current \u201cPower On\u201d newsletter writes<\/a> Mark Gurman said that Apple will not unveil its remaining products for 2022 at an October event but rather through press releases. Updated iPad Pro models and 14- and 16-inch MacBook Pros are expected. Rumors had suggested that Apple was planning a second fall event in October that would focus on the Mac and iPad. But according to Gurman, that is no longer the case.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

For the rest of 2022, Apple has three things planned: an 11-inch and 12.9-inch iPad Pro with the M2 chip, an updated Mac mini with the M2 and M2 Pro chip, and updated 14-inch and 16-inch MacBook Pros. Apple had already announced the M2 chip in June at WWDC for the redesigned MacBook Air and 13-inch MacBook Pro. Aside from the new processor, the updates to the Mac and iPad will be relatively small upgrades, with no major design changes announced for the products.
