The time has finally come. After countless rumors and leaks, Apple has now officially introduced the Apple Watch Series 8 - here is an overview.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

After countless speculations and a few leaks, the Apple Watch Series 8 has now been officially announced by Apple presented<\/a>. The new Apple Watch Series 8 offers the same screen sizes as its predecessor. In 41 mm and 45 mm, the watch offers the always-on display of the previous generations. The Apple Watch Series 8 will use the new watchOS 9 update. It brings new watch faces, a redesigned workout app and a new medication app. Nevertheless, the Apple Watch Series 8 could easily be confused with the Apple Watch Series 7. The curved case, Digital Crown, speaker cutouts and edge-to-edge display remain identical.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The external design did not need to be changed to accommodate the new body temperature sensor, which uses the existing sensor's contact with the skin to take regular measurements and observe temperature trends. Similar to the Apple Watch's other health sensors, the temperature sensor is not intended to be a replacement for medical devices.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Instead, it will alert the user when a trend indicates health issues, such as those related to women's health. The device can predict the date of ovulation to help women better understand their cycle. The cycle data is encrypted on the device and can only be unlocked with a passcode.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

watchOS 9 brings new energy saving mode<\/h3>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n

A new power saving mode can provide up to 36 hours of battery life on a single charge. It disables certain features such as the always-on display. It is available for the Apple Watch Series 4 and later - thanks to watchOS 9. The color options for aluminum are midnight, starlight, silver and (PRODUCT)RED. For stainless steel there are silver, graphite and gold. Apple customers can purchase the watch for $399 with GPS and for $499 with the cellular option.
