Apple is continuing to work on a possible revival of the iMac Pro. Apparently, the development of an iMac with a larger screen has not yet been completed. The Apple Silicon M3 chip is to be used. After Apple had offered two iMac sizes for years and limited itself to a 24-inch iMac, rumors circulated about the development of a counterpart with a large screen. On Sunday, these rumors were picked up again, but with the addition that the next Apple Silicon chip generation will be used. This means that fans of this series of devices will have to be patient. In the last<\/a> \"Power On\" newsletter, Mark Gurman answers a question about an iMac with a large display. In his answer, Gurman believes that Apple is still working on a \"larger screen iMac for the professional market\".<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Gurman believes that \"the combination of a Mac Studio or Mac mini and an Apple Studio Display is not enough for many professional users who need more screen real estate.\" This isn't the first time Gurman has brought up a return of the retired iMac Pro. In April, he emphasized that a new model is coming but that it won't be \"anytime soon.\" Given the mention of the M3 chip family and the fact that Apple has only just started to launch devices with M2, it looks like it will be much longer than a year before the supposed iMac Pro appears.
