Below I&#039;ll show you how to enable it.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Although third-party keyboards like Google&#039;s Gboard have been offering haptic feedback for some time, many people prefer to stick with the native iOS keyboard. One of the main reasons for this is privacy, as third-party keyboards often request access to track all your keystrokes. Thankfully, Apple has provided a haptic keyboard for the iPhone with iOS 16, but it is disabled by default.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-ios-16-so-aktivierst-du-die-haptische-tastatur-im-iphone\">iOS 16: How to activate the haptic keyboard on your iPhone<\/h3>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>If you&#039;re using iOS 16 on your iPhone, open the Settings app.<\/li><li>Tap Sounds &amp; Haptics.<\/li><li>At the bottom, select Keyboard Feedback.<\/li><li>Tap the switch next to Haptics to use the iPhone\u2019s haptic keyboard.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>After you have turned on the haptic keyboard, you can also turn off the sound effect for the keyboard feedback. As you can see, unlike the acoustic keyboard feedback, the haptic keyboard feedback also works when your iPhone is set to &quot;ring&quot; or &quot;silent&quot;. Small hint: Further down in Sounds &amp; Haptics you will find more toggle switches for &quot;Haptics&quot;: &quot;Play haptics in ring mode&quot;, &quot;Play haptics in silent mode&quot; and more.
