With iOS 16 and watchOS 9, Apple is making it easier for users to keep track of their medications. Medications, vitamins, and supplements can all be added to the Health app in iOS 16 to keep track of them.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

You can add your prescription medications in the Health app on iPhone in the new Medications category. In fact, you can search for and add your medications manually, or you can scan them with your iPhone's camera. When you scan a medication, you simply give the app permission and hold the medication up to the camera. Most of the time, iPhone can read the label and interpret what you're taking, but you may need to adjust your dosage. Then you can enter the time and frequency of taking it to get a reminder. You can create a schedule for each medication and give each medication its own picture with a customizable background. If you have an Apple Watch, all of your medications are listed in the new Medications app, so you can easily check them off as you take them.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

iOS 16 & watchOS 9: Keep track of medication intake<\/h3>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n

Tap a medication in the app, then tap either taken or skipped to log it. You can also mark medications in the Health app on iPhone, although this step is easier on Apple Watch. A medication that has been marked as taken will appear in the Logged section in the app.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Health app not only keeps track of your medications and reminds you to take them, but can also detect possible side effects and inform you if you are taking a dangerous combination. You can export your medications to a PDF list and share the medication information with family members. Medications are just one of the new health features on the iPhone.
