The Apple Watch could get an enhanced power saving mode in the upcoming watchOS 9. In addition, the existing health features are expected to be expanded.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Apple is expected to unveil watchOS 9 at WWDC in June, and a new report says it will include health and power-saving features, as well as a watch face overhaul. Declarations<\/a> According to Bloomberg, watchOS 9 will introduce a new power saving mode. Currently, the Apple Watch can enter a power saving mode at the user's request, which is automatically activated when the battery drops to 10 %. In power saving mode, all functions of the Apple Watch except the time are turned off. However, Bloomberg claims that the power saving mode in watchOS 9 will allow the Watch to continue running certain apps. It is likely that the new mode will be similar to the iPhone's power saving feature, which reduces the screen brightness, among other things.
