Some customers have been advised by Apple Support to bring their display to an Apple Store or authorized repair partner for repair.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In a growing <a href=\"https:\/\/discussions.apple.com\/thread\/253808766?answerId=257144098022#257144098022\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Thread<\/a> In the Apple Support Forum, Studio Display owners report that when they try to update the display, they receive an error message that reads:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\"><p>Apple Studio Display Firmware Update could not be completed. Try again in one hour. If the problem persists, contact an Apple Authorized Service Provider.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-studio-display-neuer-patch-konnte-zwei-probleme-losen\">Studio Display: New patch could solve two problems<\/h3>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n<p>According to users in this thread, reconnecting the display to another Mac and\/or restarting the monitor does not fix the issue. Some have been told by Apple Support to send their display in for repair. Side note: Apple&#039;s Studio Display runs on iOS and can be updated via macOS&#039;s System Preferences. Following reports of poor webcam quality, Apple has promised a new update in the future that should fix the poor camera quality. This update may also include a patch for the issue that occurs when updating the Studio Display.
