We've read a few rumors about the next iPad Pro generation over the last few months. Now there's a new report that suggests an update will be released this year.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

In his \u201cPower On\u201d newsletter speculated<\/a> Mark Gurman said that since Apple didn't unveil any new iPad Pros this month at its "Peek Performance" event, the new models are now expected between September and November of this year. In a previous report, Gurman said Apple is planning "the wildest lineup of new hardware products in its history" for fall 2022, and it's becoming increasingly likely that this lineup of new releases will include updated iPad Pro models. In the past, Apple has updated the iPad Pro lineup 13 to 16 months apart.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

New iPad Pro with \u201cM2\u201d chip and MagSafe support?<\/h3>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n

Therefore, an update in the fall is not completely out of the question. Gurman believes that the iPad Pro launch this year could take place up to 19 months after the current model is released. This also means that the current iPad Pro from 2021 could be one of the longest-lasting models ever. There have been few rumors about the next-generation iPad Pro in recent months. But Gurman believes that the new iPad Pro models will come with MagSafe charging and the "M2" chip. The M2 chip is expected to have the same 8-core CPU as the M1 but will work faster and more efficiently thanks to TSMC's 4-nanometer process.
