After months of speculation, Apple confirmed the opening of a second Apple Store in Berlin on November 19. Now the Cupertino-based company has announced the opening date in a press release.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

There are currently 15 Apple Stores in Germany. In cities with a population of one million, such as Munich, Hamburg and Cologne, there are even two stores. The capital, on the other hand, has had to make do with one store. But that is now changing. In a press release, Apple announced that the Apple Store on Rosenthaler Strasse will open its doors on December 2nd at 10 a.m. Deirdre O'Brien, Senior Vice President Retail + People at Apple, expressed<\/a> as follows:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We are thrilled to open our second store in Berlin \u2013 right in the heart of Mitte. By combining Apple's amazing technology with the creative passion of this community, we have the opportunity to create something truly special for our customers in Germany.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n

According to Apple, on opening day only customers who have reserved an appointment in advance for a short introduction or a purchase will be allowed into the store. This means that the store will open with reduced capacity and strict adherence to the minimum distance.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

According to Apple, walk-ins, Apple pickup, service by Genius Support and shopping with an Apple Specialist will also be offered from December 3rd. Apple also refers to the current Corona regulations. These include proof of 2G status, the obligation to wear a mouth and nose covering and compliance with the minimum distance.
