With iOS 15.2 Beta 2, Apple has redesigned the Find My app. There is now a new feature that allows users to search for AirTags or Find My-enabled items that could track them.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

When you open the Find My app on iOS 15.2 and go to the Items tab, there is an option for "Items that can track me." Tapping this will allow you to search for items near you that can track your location. When Unknown Items is enabled, it will search for anything that is nearby. The feature will inform users if there is a device nearby that belongs to someone else. When an item is discovered, Apple will offer instructions on how to disable the device so it can no longer be used for tracking.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Apple also offers the Return Lost Items option, which is identical to the previous Identify Found Items feature. The Return Lost Items feature launches a scan that finds nearby devices and provides instructions on how to contact the owner of the device, with instructions tailored to the device in question. AirTags and items with Find My integration are designed to allow users to track down their lost devices. But there have been concerns that AirTags can be placed on people for stalking purposes. To prevent stalking with AirTags and other devices, Apple has introduced several security measures.
